When we first moved to Arkansas farm I got a little carried away with gardening. Read understatement here. Did you know that pumpkins can’t be killed? And prolific? Oh my, I had many, many pumpkins. Which wouldn’t have been so bad had they matured in October. Unfortunately, mine all appeared in July. No one wants pumpkins in July. However, I had a beautiful compost pile that year. Very colorful. They were very sincere. I sincerely didn’t plant them the next year.
