I do love the fun of Mother Goose rhymes, especially this one.

Every Spring when a field of daffodils sprang up behind our house in West Virginia, I envisioned daffodil ladies dancing about.

Not so many daffodil fields in Texas, but I still think of this illustration whenever I see a daffodil.
